Ten Tips for Newlyweds

Ten Tips for Newlyweds

"Marriage is the time to be drunk on love. God designed sexual intimacy in marriage to be intoxicating to the husband and wife."

Since we have so many Brides visiting our store, we figured it would be encouraging to collaborate with The Savvy Sauce's very own Laura Dugger and give you some really great tips for Newlyweds!

Laura Dugger married her best friend, Mark, in 2009 and they have four beloved daughters. Laura is a marriage and family therapist and her graduate school specialization was christian sex therapy. She believes this podcast was an idea from the Lord and she prays to obediently follow God’s direction and bring Him glory.

Ten Tips for Newlyweds

Written By Laura Dugger

Newlyweds have a lot on their plates! From the very moment that ring slides on your finger, your life changes almost immediately. You have so much to look forward to: you finally get to try on that dream wedding dress, there are bridal showers and parties and there are just so many exciting things happening all at once. But there is also a lot of stress that comes along with wedding planning. So many decisions have to be made and brides sometimes feel they have a ton of weight on their shoulders. Planning a huge successful party is no easy task all while, working, working out, traveling, doing typical day to day activities - all while keeping that ring safe! ;)

The expectation of perfection can outweigh the joy of actually getting married. When it comes down to it, your wedding day is about you and your spouse. That is truly what matters most. Couples can get caught up in all of the wedding planning and celebration rather than the actual purpose which is being able to enjoy one another and start your life together.

We collaborated with The Savvy Sauce to hopefully provide helpful information that could help you as you prepare for your wedding, your wedding night and your marriage as you grow as a couple. After the wedding celebration has come and gone, it's just you and your husband. Our goal with sharing this piece from The Savvy Sauce is to help you achieve this amazing gift in your marriage! We want your marriage to be the best it can be.

In this article, Laura has shared with us her top ten recommendations as you prepare for the sexual part of marriage. This article is a must read/watch/listen!
